Private Alexandre Peloquin
Private Alexander Péloquin enlisted on 26 October 2007 in Montréal, Québec and after completing his recruitment training in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec he was sent to Valcartier, Québec.
He completed his infantry training at the Land Force Quebec Area Training Center from 29 February 2008 to 6 June 2008, when he began serving with the 3rd Battalion, Royal 22nd Regiment.
He left Canada on 1 April 2009 to serve in Afghanistan as part of the 2nd Battle Group R22eR. He was killed when an Improvised Explosive Device detonated during a foot patrol in the Panjwai district.

Sdt Alexandre Péloquin s'est enrôlé le 26 octobre 2007 à Montréal et, après avoir suivi sa formation de recrue à St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, il est arrivé à Valcartier.
Il a suivi sa formation de Fantassin au Centre d'Instruction du Secteur de Québec de la Forces Terrestre du 29 février 2008 au 6 juin 2008. Il servait au sein du 3e Bataillons Royal 22e Régiment depuis juin 2008.
Il a quitté le Canada le 1er avril 2009 pour servir en Afghanistan au sein du Groupement Tactique du 2e R22eR. Il a perdu la vie lorsqu'un engin explosif a explosé pendant une patrouille à pied dans le district de Panjwai.
